Surgeon of Mangaldai Civil Hospital tests COVID-19 positive

MANGALDAI: Surgeon of Mangaldai Civil Hospital, Dr. Jiten Saharia tested COVID-19 positive and on Friday evening, he was admitted in the COVID isolation ward of Mangaldai Civil Hospital.

Meanwhile, the district administration has sealed the ground floor (OPD section) of the hospital. On the other hand, Block Programme Manager of NHM at Jaljali PHC, Bhadreswar Nath and ANM of Gossaigaon Mini PHC near here, Meera Rani Saharia have also tested positive and both were admitted in the isolation ward. Till date, the number of COVID-19 cases in Darrang district is 266.
