Suspected COVID-Affected Patient identified at Biswanath Chariali

Biswanath Chariali: A suspected coronavirus affected patient was admitted at Biswanath Chariali Civil Hospital on Saturday night.

The person, who hails from Chatiya in Biswanath district, was suffering from cold and fever. He had reportedly worked in Kerela and returned home a few days back. The doctors kept him in an isolated ward and started treatment immediately. He was shifted to Tezpur Medical College and Hospital on Sunday amidst tight security and his blood and other samples were sent to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital for testing.
