Swab results of returnees to Barpeta found negative for COVID-19
The swab tests of the people who returned to Assam by train on May 15 from different parts of the country tested negative

BARPETA: The swab tests of the people who returned to Assam by train on May 15 from different parts of the country tested negative for COVID-19.
These people were under quarantine at Barnagar and Hotel Abhinandan. Among them, 40 were in the quarantine centre at Barnagar College and nine in Hotel Abhinandan, Pathsala. All the 49 persons were released and sent home. They will remain under home quarantine for the remaining nine days.
On Wednesday, 18 people returned and among them, 6 males have been kept at Barnagar College for quarantine. Three women along with five children were sent for home quarantine at Kalgachiya. Two women and two children had temperature and hence they were kept at JNV, Sarbhog campus.
