Swab samples of five PSOs test negative in Demow

DEMOW: Five PSOs of Jogen Mohan, Minister of State for Revenue and Disaster Management (Independent), were kept in the quarantine centre set up in Sivasagar Polytechnic Institution at Demow Barua Changmai Gaon on April 26.
According to sources, a PSO of Jogen Mohan, who is from Golaghat district, came from his residence and was supposed to join duty but was not allowed. This PSO came in touch with four other PSOs. After knowing about it, the Health Department, with the help of police, kept them in a room and on April 26, they were sent to the Demow quarantine centre set up in Sivasagar Polytechnic Institution.
The swab samples of the five PSOs were sent to ICMR laboratory at Lahowal in Dibrugarh on Monday. As per information received from Dr. S Ullah, SDM&HO of Demow Block Primary Health Centre, the swab samples of the five PSOs have tested negative.
