Swachh Bharat Mission: Cleaning Drive Launched in Dhakuakhana

LAKHIMPUR: Special attempts have been taken to ensure a clean and hygienic environment under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) and to make the plastic-free campaign successful at the historic Basudev Than Naruwa Xatra, located in Dhakuakhana subdivision of Lakhimpur district.

In this regard, a cleaning drive was launched in the Xatra premises on Saturday under the auspices of Ghilamora Nehru Yuva Kendra Rashtriya Swechsasevak Ujjal Das and a group of spirited youths of Subansiri. Launching the drive, the group of youths cleaned out the Xatra premises and sensitized the local people.
