Swachh City Award 2021 to Tinsukia
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India awarded Swachh City Award to Tinsukia for achieving 1st rank as ‘Fastest Mover’ city in NE Zone in Swachh Survekshan 2021 under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban).

TINSUKIA: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India awarded Swachh City Award to Tinsukia for achieving 1st rank as 'Fastest Mover' city in NE Zone in Swachh Survekshan 2021 under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban). Narsing Pawar Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia received the award from the President of India Ram Nath Kovind in Swachh Amrit Mahotsav programme at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Saturday. Others who accompanied Pawar were EO i/c Tinsukia Municipality Chinmoy Pathak and junior engineer Nabajyoti Das.
