Swarnim Vijay Mashaal arrives at Tamalpur

BAKSA: Swarnim Vijay Mashaal, marking the commemoration of 50 years of India's victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war, arrived at the Tamalpur Military Station on Monday.

The flame received a grand ceremonial reception by civilians all along the route. Various commemorative events were conducted at the station wherein war veterans were felicitated and wreath-laying was carried out by civil dignitaries, ESMs, Veer Naris and NCC cadets followed by cultural programmes. The event concluded with a grand celebration by band display and equipment display in honour of Swarnim Vijay Varsh.
