TDJA to conferred Journalism award to Dipak Borah of Netaipukhuri

TINSUKIA: The prestigious Badra Krishna Goswami Memorial Journalism Award instituted by the Tinsukia District Journalists' Association (TDJA) will be conferred on journalist Dipak Borah of Netaipukhuri in Sibsagar district. The award commemorating founder president of TDJA, Badra Krishna Goswami, will be presented to Borah during the three-day 22nd biennial conference to be held at Kakopathar on March 14. Borah was selected by a panel of senior journalists constituted by the TDJA, informed Rana Jyoti Neog, secretary of TDJA.

Borah, a college teacher by profession, is a correspondent of a vernacular daily and is actively involved in the organizational activities of Demow Press Club, AUWJ, Sibsagar Sonowal Kachari Xahitya Xabha, among others.
