Teachers felicitated by All Adivasi Students Association of Assam at Doomdooma

TINSUKIA: The Doomdooma Regional Committee of All Adivasi Students' Association of Assam (AASAA), on the occasion of Teachers' Day, felicitated eight renowned teachers of Doomdooma circle in a programme held at Doomdooma Press Club with Chaban Bag, president of the committee, in the chair.

The felicitated teachers were Bisweswar Karmakar of Kakojan ME School, Alip Khan, Principal of Hoonlal HS School, Abhijit Khatoniar of St Mary's School and also press correspondent of an English daily, Prakash Dutta HM of Rupai High School, Gayetree Telenga of Doomdooma Girls' HS School, Sunanda Karmakar of Doomdooma Jatiya Vidyalaya and retired teachers Tarun Bhumij and Uttam Tanti. In the meeting, Angot Benia and Suresh Bhumij, general secretary and vice-president respectively of AASAA Doomdooma regional committee, spoke on the occasion.
