Temporary music studio arranged for Zubeen Garg in Nemcare hospital where he is recovering

GUWAHATI: Nemcare Hospital in Guwahati has set up a temporary music studio for singer Zubeen Garg so that he can complete his pending work and compose music.

Managing director of Nemcare Hospital Dr. Hitesh Baruah told media, “We know that Zubeen is a very busy man and he has a lot of work pending. So we have set up a temporary music studio in the hospital itself. We are providing him everything that is needed for him to complete his work only to keep him in the hospital at least for a week. So he can be under observation and take proper rest. Zubeen is enjoying all the setup and he has started composing music and that’s a really good sign for us.”

A few days ago, Garg suddenly fell sick during a programme at Guwahati Town Club.

Zubeen fell unconscious suddenly during an interaction with the media. After collapsing during the event Garg was admitted to Nemcare Hospital.

Garg was put under observation for 24 hours. He was put on a liquid diet and advised to take rest.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal had visited Garg in Nemcare Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

Minister Naba Doley also visited Zubeen Garg at the hospital.

According to reports, former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi has proposed the name of the celebrity from the state.

“I have no interest in politics but Rajya Sabha is different. Well-known faces are sent to Rajya Sabha from different states. Let me think about it. Right now, I can’t comment on this, let me reach Guwahati,” he said.

He has lent his voice to an English music video with an aim to garner global support against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The music video titled “Motherland” focuses on the ongoing socio-political situation of Assam and the rest of the Northeast, which has been made available on YouTube recently. The video is a product of band Cosmic Horizon.

Zubeen is now a familiar face of the ongoing anti-CAA protests across the State. The singer has been criticizing both the Centre and Assam Government for bringing the Act. He has been uniting the artists’ community to join the ongoing movement.
