Temporary workers of electricity office boycott duty for non-declaration of result

KALAIGAON: Temporary workers of Kalaigaon Electricity office along with All Assam Temporary Bill Clerk Metre Readers’ Union boycotted duty on Tuesday. The workers of Kalaigaon Power Distribution Corporation Limited alleged that they had appeared in a written examination one year ago but APDCL/APGCL and AEGCL had not declared the result as yet. So, they were compelled to boycott their duty. They demanded that the result of the exam should be declared soon.
