Tezpur student KV Central University finds space in India Book of Records

TEZPUR: A 20-year old boy, Izharul Hassan Sarkar, student of Kendriya Vidyalaya Central University, Tezpur and son of Abdul Musawwir Sarkar, Principal of Panchmile High Madrassa, and Noorjahan Begum, inhabitants of Panchmile village under Tezpur PS in Sonitpur district, got his name registered in the India Book of Records, 2021.

He curved out a cup and plate measuring 1.5 millimetre in height and 2 millimetre in width on a pencil lead in 30 minutes. He also made it to the Assam Book of Records for his miniature art on pencil lead. He made pepa (10 mm × 3 mm size in 15 minutes) and xarai (10 mm × 3.5 mm size in 30 minutes) and a lot of things to explore Assam's culture.
