Tezpur University students land coveted roles at Bharat Electronics Limited

Nine students from Tezpur University’s Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) Department secured campus placement in Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL)

TEZPUR: Nine students from Tezpur University’s Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) Department secured campus placement in Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The successful placement drive took place at the university from June 12 to June 13, culminating in the selection of the nine talented BTech in ECE students.

The selected students will be joining BEL at an attractive Cost to Company (CTC) of approximately Rs 12.5 to Rs 13 lakhs for the E-II grade. This comprehensive package includes the total earning opportunity of Performance Related Pay (PRP) and annual Dearness Allowance (DA) revisions.

“We are incredibly proud of our students who have demonstrated exceptional talent and secured these prestigious positions at Bharat Electronics Limited,” Prof Shambhu Nath Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the university, congratulated the students. Tezpur University has a dedicated Training & Placement Cell for engineering and non-Engineering disciplines. The Training & Placement Cell offers pre-placement training, internship opportunities, industry interaction, and placement assistance.

The students who have cleared the recruitment process are Ripunjay Deka, Rajdeep Das, Bhargov Gogoi, Shubham Kumar Kushwaha, Rohan Kumar Gupta, Shourya Kumar Singh, Vivekananda Das, Bhargab Pratim Nath, and Ritish Kumar Das. This successful recruitment drive further strengthens the long-standing relationship between Tezpur University and leading industries, providing invaluable opportunities for its students.
