Tezpur University VC Prof. Shambhu Nath Singh interacts with Dharmendra Pradhan

TEZPUR: Tezpur University Vice Chancellor Prof. Shambhu Nath Singh on Sunday met Dharmendra Pradhan, Education Minister in New Delhi at his residence. During the interaction, Vice Chancellor Prof. Singh highlighted Tezpur University’s achievements and briefed the Minister about the roadmap to promote Tezpur University into a world-class institution.

Pradhan acknowledged the crucial role universities are playing in driving the nation’s development and expressed his appreciation for Tezpur University’s contributions to academic excellence and research. He advised Prof. Singh to empower students with necessary skills and knowledge to address the challenges of the rapidly evolving world by introducing skill-based education.

In his remarks, Vice Chancellor Prof. Singh stated, “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to interact with the Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. This meeting reaffirms our commitment to create an atmosphere of academic excellence in our university. We have invited the Education Minister to visit Tezpur University, which he has accepted and assured that he will visit the campus shortly.”
