Three Adivasi rebels surrender with arms before 18 Garwal Army and Digboi police

TINSUKIA: Three members of Adivasi extremist groups- Adivasi National Liberation Army (ANLA) and Adivasi People's Liberation Army (APLA) - surrendered before 18 Garwal Army and Digboi police with arms and ammunition on Wednesday.

They have been identified as Jemsonmunda (30), son of Sulaimon Munda, village Nagachang Kharia Basti under Dhanshri PS, Karbi Anglong; Lakhanproja (30), son of Keshab Proja, village Khatkhati Tillabosti under Khatkhati PS; and Lokash Kondulna (55), son of Om Kundulana of Hatoka Adibashi gaon under Dilai PS, Karbi Anlong. While Jemson Munda surrendered one .22 Rifle with 1 magazine and 8 ammunition, Lokash Kondulna handed over one .9mm pistol with a magazine and 10 ammunition. Lakhan Proja surrendered one .22 pistol with one magazine and 8 ammunition.
