Three COVID-19 affected villages sealed in Jagiroad district

JAGIROAD: The Deputy Commissioner of Morigaon on Wednesday night sealed geographical areas of three COVID-19 affected villages - Chenimari, Ghunusha and Kuiyadal under Jagiroad Police Station.

A notification issued in this regard has banned entry and exit of people and movement of vehicles in those three villages with immediate effect.

Jonab Ali (46) of village Chenimari, Hajarat Ali (60) of village Ghunusha and Nuruddin Ali (55) of village Kuiyadal under Jagiroad PS have tested COVID-19 positive. Meanwhile, the district administration has imposed complete lockdown at Jagiroad for the next three days.
