Three-day Swasthay Seva Utsav begins in Dhubri District

DHUBRI: Three-day Swasthay Seva Utsav started in Dhubri District Health and Family Welfare department from Thursday along with the rest of the State. The standard of services and infrastructure assessment is being done as per Cabinet decision and under the purview of assessment, 1252 health centres would be covered in the State while 43 in Dhubri district. While addressing the media persons here on Wednesday at the conference hall of Health department, Dhubri, Joint-Director of Health Services, Dr. J.B.Roy informed that the assessment of one Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital, 9 community health centres and 33 primary health centres, would be done by 14 external assessors and 4 external evaluators.

“This evaluation in health centres will help to know the standard of services being rendered with present infrastructure, which in turn will play a big role for the State government in planning and upgrading its services,” Dr. Roy explained.
