Three-day training on 'COVID-19 management at home' organized at Bilasipara

BILASIPARA: Under the aegis of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Bilasipara sub-district branch, a three-day training programme on 'Management of COVID-19 at home' was organized at Bilasipara in the premises of Dr. BR Ambedkar Bhavan, Bilasipara with a view to render service to COVID-19 patients under home quarantine or home isolation.

Altogether 23 volunteers undertook the training. Dr. Kanu Lal Das, former chairman of IRCS, Bilasipara sub-district branch, conducted the training programme with demonstration. On Saturday, the valedictory function was held with Dayal Paul, chairman IRCS, Bilasipara sub-district branch, in the chair. The function was attended by Samsul Huda, newly-elected MLA of Bilasipara East LAC, as well as the executive body members of IRCS, Bilasipara sub-district branch. The MLA was felicitated with japi, phulam gamosa and bouquet while masks, sanitizers and soaps were distributed among the trainees.
