NAGAON: In two separate sudden attacks of a wild boar, three persons including a woman were severely injured at Jamuhandal village in Hojai district on Monday. Sources claimed that two persons identified as Mukunda Nath and Sriram Nath were harshly attacked by a wild boar coming from a nearby forest while they were working in a crop field.

Meanwhile, a woman named Rumi Devi of the same village was attacked by the boar when she was working at her home, sources said, adding further that all those three victims were immediately admitted to a local hospital in a critical condition. After being informed, the local forest personnel rushed to the spot to review the incident and was trying to trace the wild boar in the locality.
