Three IPL gamblers apprehended from different places of Barpeta district

BARPETA: Three IPL gamblers were caught by police from different places of the district on Monday evening. One IPL gambler was caught by Barpeta Police led by TSI, Barpeta Sadar police station. A case was registered at Barpeta Sadar police station and he will be produced in court. Rafijuddin from Bheragaon was nabbed near the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital, Barpeta. In another operation, Howly Police led by Pankaj Das, I/C, Howly police station, caught two IPL gamblers named Abul Hussain of Jarabari and Samad Khan of Barbala. Police recovered Rs 36,440 from them.
