
According to the most recent report from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Assam has seen three new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, increasing the number of active cases in the state to 29.
The statistics, which was made public on Sunday, also showed that there has been one more recovery in the past day, bringing the state's total number of recoveries since January 2025 to 14.
There are presently 7,383 ongoing COVID-19 cases in India, and 10 additional deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours.
The majority of the illnesses that are now occurring are moderate in nature and are being successfully treated with home isolation guidelines, according to health officials. Authorities are still keeping a careful eye on the situation and are advising residents to stay vigilant and follow simple precautions

The ministry’s bulletin states that there have been 108 COVID-19 deaths in India since January of this year, with 11 more deaths reported as of 8 a.m. on June 10.
An 85-year-old man with chronic respiratory failure and active COVID-19 died in Chhattisgarh, and a 67-year-old man with lung cancer died in Delhi from acute respiratory failure brought on by COVID-19 pneumonia.
