Three Naga miscreants held with pistol, Gaurisagar

GAURISAGAR: Three Naga persons, Yanger Ayar, Patanga L K and Ari N Anchung Ayee from Mukokchang district of Nagaland, were held by security personnel deployed in the Assam-Nagaland border area near Ahom bridge of Amguri TE under Haluwating Police Station in Sivasagar district on Sunday night.

A .2mm pistol made in China was recovered from their possession. In a combing operation of the Indian Army deployed in Maibella, Sonari and 119 unit of CRPF, Haluwating, the three miscreants were caught red-handed with the pistol which they had brought to sell. Security personnel also seized two mobile handsets and a Splendor bike.
