Three new COVID-19 positive cases detected in Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: Three more COVID-19 positive cases were detected on Sunday at Jamugurihat. They have been identified as Sunita Devi (20), Chunu Das (20) and Kamalesh Kumar (20).

The swab samples of the three persons were collected in the Zonal Health Screening Centre of Tezpur University on June 25 when they reached from Siliguri. After collection of swab samples, they were sent for institutional quarantine at Tyag Bir Hem Baruah College, Jamugurihat.

After testing positive, they were shifted to COVID care hospital of Paruwa, Tezpur immediately. All three persons hail from Harijan Colony of 12 AP Battalion near Jamugurihat.
