Three Persons Die of COVID in Sonitpur District, New Cases 205

TEZPUR: Three persons lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Sonitpur district on Saturday. They have been identified as Jitendra Narayan Roy (87), resident of Rubber Bagan, Tezpur, Tulsi Saikia (51), resident of Dekargaon and Dipti Deka (30), resident of Rownari, Dhekiajuli, who died at TMCH, taking the death toll to 108 in the district during the second wave of the pandemic. Altogether 4,937 tests were done across the district on Saturday out of which 4,348 were RAT and rest RT-PCR and among the new 205 positive cases found, 175 cases were from RAT and 30 from RT-PCR.
