Three women die after Caesarean delivery at FAAMCH, Barpeta

BARPETA: The demise of three women who underwent Caesarean delivery has created panic. The caesarean operation was done at FRU, PHC and Welfare Centre of Barpeta Road.

Just after the operation, their health deteriorated and they were admitted to the Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH) immediately. But unfortunately, the three of them died at FAAMCH. The three babies are safe.

The deceased are Papari Kalita (22), wife of Khanin Kalita of Dakshin Ganakgari, Sarbhog, Anuradha Sarma ( 22), wife of Hemanta Chiyakuti of Udalguri, Baska and Ajmina Khanam (22), wife of Sultan Ali of Jashihati para, Barpeta.
