Tinsukia administration initiates action against undeserving families having ration cards
Tinsukia district administration has initiated stringent measures against government servants and families having government service holders who are in possession of ration cards issued under NFSA-13.

TINSUKIA: Tinsukia district administration has initiated stringent measures against government servants and families having government service holders who are in possession of ration cards issued under NFSA-13.
A notification vide no TSM/02/2019/89 of September 9, 2021 issued by the ADC i/c of FCS&CA branch stated that despite several appeals to surrender the ration cards, several undeserving families have been enjoying the benefits under NFSA-13.
The order directed to all heads of the departments and principals of all colleges in Tinsukia district to obtain undertaking from all employees of their respective establishment in a format prior to disbursement of monthly salary, besides to furnish names of the employees having NFSA ration card in their family for initiating legal action against them.
