Tinsukia DC takes stock of COVID and flood preparedness

DOOMDOOMA: Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia district, Pawar Narsing Sambhaji visited Sadiya subdivision recently to take stock of the COVID-19 scenario and flood preparedness. He held discussion with the Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-SDO (Civil) i/c of Sadiya subdivision SK Gogoi and other senior officials.

During his maiden visit to Sadiya the DC also interacted with media personnel of Sadiya Press Club. The DC urged the general public to extend cooperation and help the district administration to overcome the current pandemic as well as all types of disasters, including flood.

The Sadiya Press Club felicitated the new DC with a phulam gamosa during his maiden visit to Sadiya subdivision. Later , the Deputy Commissioner inspected the erosion-affected Chapakhowa Gurung Basti and Sunpura Udaipur.
