Tinsukia Deputy Commissioner reviews progress of various projects

DOOMDOOMA: In the District Development Committee (DDC) meeting held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Tinsukia on Tuesday, a review of the progress of various ongoing projects of the district in health, agriculture, animal husbandry, public works departments sectors was done by Deputy Commissioner Narsingh Pawar.

He laid great stress on completion of the various departmental development projects in the specified time frame and passed order for completion of those government projects on priority basis. The people must know about the projects in detail and every department must work in a dedicated manner for the service of the people, he said.

He appealed to the Revenue Circle Officers and Block Development Officers (BDOs) present to create more awareness about Mission Basundhara - the ambitious project of the Government of Assam - among the people after having a thorough discussion on it.

The DC was also apprised of the progress of COVID-19 vaccination programme by the Health department. The DDC meeting was also attended by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Nayanjyoti Bhagawati, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sarangapani Sarmah, Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) Sarafraj Haque, Dipu Deka and Manjit Barkakati, and other officials.
