Tinsukia district administration clarifies no decision to distribute land pattas

TINSUKIA: The Tinsukia district administration in a press release clarified that no decision was taken to distribute land pattas to 30 thousand Missing families inside the Dimoruholla forest reserve on January 28 referring to a posting by Rupam Chutia, President Barekuri Anchalik Yuba Sangha through cell phone. The release stated that the content was not based on facts besides would create confusion among the minds of the people adding that any person desirous of getting detailed information may contact the Revenue Department at Deputy Commissioner’s office Tinsukia.
