Tinsukia district administration organized a two-day training for population census work

TINSUKIA: In view of the ensuing Population Census, 2021, Tinsukia district administration organized a two-day training for the Regular Charge Assistants appointed in the District Census Cell at the DC office, Tinsukia for four Revenue Circle Offices and six Municipal Board Offices in the district on February 24-February 25 at the conference hall of Tinsukia Zilla Parishad, Borguri, Tinsukia.

On this occasion, Resource Officials from Director of Census, Assam, Bikash Nath, deputy director, Ratul Das, senior supervisor and Shiv Kumar, senior compiler imparted the training with slide shows. The hands-on training was also given to the trainees as this time census data will be collected by the enumerators through mobile apps. Rajit Dutta, Senior Agriculture Development Officer, Tinsukia also attended training as District Master Trainee and Deepak Gohain, District Informatics Officer, Tinsukia imparted the training as Technical Expert.

Houselisting works will start from April 20 to May 20 in Assam. In this connection, Master Trainers and Field Trainers have already been appointed and Supervisors and Enumerators will be appointed very soon. Officials from Director of Census requested all the trainees to give maximum efforts for successful completion of the census in the greater national interest. Bimal Borgohain and Nabodit Borgohain also attended the training from District Census Cell.
