Total of 14 COVID-19 positive cases detected in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: A total of 14 COVID-19 positive cases were detected at Doomdooma on Friday.

They are Jaydeep Moran (20), Jokaichuk; Kanteswar Mahanta (23), Kordoiguri, Jantu Hazarika (19), Kordoiguri; Raktim Moran (20), No.4 Kakajan; Kubul Moran (22), Baghjan; Bikash Saikia (22), Baghjan; Piplee Mura (23), No.4 Kakajan; Nabajit Moran (24), Jokaichuk; Bitupon Dhadumiya (25), Talpathar; Surajit Moran (23), Kulipathar,(Kakapather); Madhuryya Sonowal (23), Bardhadum; Mantu Gogoi (21), Upar Ubon; Arjya Pradhan (25), Barmura Miripathar; Bikash Changmai (27), Hahkhati.

They were all lodged at Doomdooma Marwari Panchayati Bhaban Quarantine Centre. Their throat swaps were sent to ICMR Lahowal for testing last Monday and on receiving results on Saturday, they were all admitted in the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Civil Hospital, Tinsukia on the same day.

On the other hand, three persons from Sadiya tested positive along with these 14 positive cases of Doomdooma. They are – Sajan Deori (22), Biswajit Sonowal (20) and Manjit Ali (22).
