Total of 33 new COVID-19 patients were detected in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: A total of 33 new COVID-19 patients were detected in Lakhimpur, including Saturday and Sunday. Of them 19 patents were detected on Saturday while 14 patients were reported on Sunday. Out of them, 4 patients were detected positive as per real time Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (rRT-PCR) Test result while rest 29 patients were found positive through Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).

On Sunday, 10 personnel of 13th APBn Camp located at Lilabari were found positive for COVID-19 through RAT. With these newly-detected patients, the number of total COVID-19 cases in the district has spiked to 2,222. Of them, 1,358 patients have been discharged while 864 are active cases.
