Traffic congestion causes concern for the local people in Jagiroad

JAGIROAD: Severe traffic congestion at Jagiroad has become a cause of concern for the local people. The traffic points, particularly the Jagiroad Chariali point, usually do not have traffic police personnel. People park their vehicles haphazardly on the roadside. Passenger vehicles like Tata Magic and e-rickshaws blatantly violate traffic rules. The police merely put up some ‘No parking’ boards and try to avoid solving the problem, thus putting life and property at stake. The conscious citizens have urged the district administration to look into the matter.
