Training imparted to masons on quake-resistant construction in Morigaon

MORIGAON: The Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Morigaon in collaboration with Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), organized a two-day Masons Training on Earthquake Resistant Construction Practices on January 10 and January 11 at the Kalabithika, Morigaon.
A total of 48 registered masons from various villages of Morigaon district participated in the training programme. The training programme was inaugurated by Garga Mohan Das, Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer, District Disaster Management Authority, Morigaon. Saurav Kumar Das, Assistant Commissioner, Morigaon, was also present in the programme. After the training programme, feedback was received from participants. Finally, certificates were distributed by Garga Mohan Das.
