‘Training Of Trainers’ To Be Held In Guwahati on Dec 6

Guwahati: University of Oxford- MaatHRI Project and Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences, the only Health University in the North East India and India Alliance (DBT – Wellcome) is organizing an event ‘Training Of Trainers’(TOT) in Guwahati on December 6.

Training Of Trainers (TOT) aims to create a research platform of academics from India and the United Kingdom (UK). It will provide and introduce healthcare practitioners from across the state to opportunities for national and international research in medical fields.

This programme is organized under the initiative of Prof (Dr.) Dipika Deka, Vice-Chancellor, Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences, Guwahati, Assam, Dr Manisha Nair, Senior Epidemiologist & Chief Investigator, MatHRI, National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit (NPEU), Nuffield Department of Population, University of Oxford and Dr. Saswati Sanyal Choudhury, Associate Professor, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati, Assam.

Around 85 – 90 delegates from six medical colleges of Assam are expected to participate in the programme, stated a press release.
