Dibrugarh: The valedictory programme of the paper cover, envelope and file making training was held recently at United Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Dibrugarh. It was a 10-day training programme. Juri Barua and Kunjalata Rajbongshi were invited to grace the occasion. In the meeting, Barua said that in view of the ban on plastic bags worldwide, it was a very good initiative of the institute. She said that the paper bag industry was growing and there was large scope for the trainees in the industry. Rajbongshi said that they should continue with their paper bags and envelope work. She said that initially they might face some difficulties but they should not be discouraged and continue with their work. Panchami Bora, director of United Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Dibrugarh, advised the trainees on some technical issues and spoke about women empowerment and advised them to move ahead with their endeavour to become successful entrepreneurs.
