Training on scientific goat farming held in Udalguri District
The Udalguri District Veterinary Office of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary has organized a three-day long training programme on scientific goat farming

KALAIGAON: The Udalguri District Veterinary Office of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary has organized a three-day long training programme on scientific goat farming in the premises of Udalguri District Veterinary Office from January 5.
According to Dr NC Kalita, District Veterinary Officer of Udalguri, a total of 300 farmers of the district will be trained on goat farming under National Livestock Mission during the three days. A training programme was also held on piggery from December 12, 2022 to train the farmers under pig mission of the Bodoland Territorial Region for development of the region. A total of 100 people were trained in the programme. Veterinary officers like Dr Prafulla Konwar and Dr Sangeeta Boro took part in this training programme as the resource persons.
