Training programme on NAAC preparedness held in Nagaon

NAGAON: Nagaon Khagarijan College organized a training programme on NAAC preparedness and NEP 2020 implementation in HEIs of Assam on Friday here at Nagaon Khagarijan College. The programme was initiated in collaboration with UGC-HRDC Gauhati University. Over 35 faculties from four institutions Juria College, Batadrava Sri Sri Sankardeva College, Nonoi College and Samaguri College attended the sessions moderated by Programme Coordinator Prof Dhruba Jyoti Sahariah, Department of Geography, Gauhati University. Dr Ramesh Nath, principal, Nagaon Khagarijan College, inaugurated the session and also delivered the welcome address stressing on the need to be aware.

He praised NEP as a future vision rather than just a reform and emphasised the data-oriented synchronised strategy shared by NAAC and NEP, 2020.

Prof Utpal Sharma, Dept of Computer Science and Engineering, Tezpur University and Robin Kumar Kalita, Coordinator IQAC, Mayong Anchalik College attended the programme as resource persons and shared the gathering with important knowledge and information about both NEP and NAAC.
