On the occasion, Kamrup rural District Transport officer Gautam Das also distributed tree saplings to media persons, drivers and public at the Guwahati LGBI Airport premises on the occasion of World Environmental Day. He also distributed hand sanitizers and face masks to media persons. During the program, Das urged the public for tree plantations. He also added that due to the increasing carbon monoxide in our environment, people now suffer with various diseases.
