Tribute paid to former CM Tarun Gogoi at Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: Rich tribute was paid to the former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi at Jamugurihat on Saturday in a meeting held near the ASTC counter here.

As the team carrying the ashes of former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi reached Jamugurihat, many organizations and Congress workers of greater Jamugurihat assembled here. Former Sootea MLA Praneswar Basumotary, Geeta Bhattarai of Naduar Block Congress Committee along with others paid rich tribute to veteran Congress leader.
