To the most amazing and fun-loving soul we had the privilege of knowing – my deuta, Pranab Chandra Saikia. You were more than just a father; you were a beacon of joy, laughter, and life itself. As a retired teacher, you dedicated your life to shaping minds and touching lives, but it was your boundless energy and your love for life that made you truly unforgettable. You were the most jolly person we knew – always with a smile, always ready to crack a joke or tell a story, always ready to make those around you feel special. Your love for adventure was infectious. Whether it was travelling far and wide to explore new places or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, you lived with a spirit of wonder and curiosity that inspired everyone who met you. You adored, always seeking new horizons and encouraging us to live life to its fullest. You gave so much to the world – not just through your work as a teacher, but through your kindness, your laughter, and your genuine love for people. You taught us all the importance of living joyfully, of appreciating each day, and of finding the beauty in every moment. Though we lost you on February 27, 2025, your legacy will forever live on. We will carry your laughter in our hearts, your love of adventure in our souls, and the lessons you taught us in every step we take. Deuta, you lived life king-size, embracing every moment with joy, and we are all better for having had you in our lives. Here’s to you – the forever fun-loving, always adventurous spirit who will never be forgotten. You will always be our guiding star, and we will raise a glass to a life well-lived. Cheers to you, deuta. We love you always.
