Tributes paid to journalist Parag Bhuyan in Demow

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Demow Press Club, a tribute programme was organized in Demow ASTC Bus Stand on Sunday evening for Parag Bhuyan, a senior journalist of Kakopathar and also vice-president of Tinsukia District Journalists Association (TDJA) who died in a road accident recently. Ajay Kumar Gogoi, secretary and Prasanta Gogoi, vice-president of Demow Press Club paid tribute by lighting the earthen lamp in front of the photo of the late journalist.

After that the members of Demow Press Club and leaders of local organizations of Demow also lit the earthen lamp in front of the photo of Parag Bhuyan. The members of the Demow Press Club and local organizations of Demow have demanded that Parag Bhuyan should get justice and the culprits should get proper punishment. A one minute silence was observed for the late journalist. In the programme the members of Demow Press Club along with the leaders of several local organizations were present.
