Truenaat Machine installed at RN Brahma Civil Hospital, Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: The Joint Director of Health Services, Kokrajhar, Dr Jahiruddin Ahmad on Wednesday installed and inaugurated 'Truenaat Machine' in presence of Dr. AS Sharma, Superintendent of RN Brahma Civil Hospital, Kokrajhar and Dr. Kaushik Das, District TB Officer, Kokrajhar.
According to District TB Officer, the Truenaat machine will bring revolution in TB diagnosis in the Gossaigaon area. After the inauguration ceremony, a training programme was organized by the District Tobacco Control Cell, Kokrajhar in relation to World Heart Day. All doctors and in-charges of wards were trained. Dr. Kaushik Das, Dr. Wasim Akhtar Bari of Assam Cancer Care Foundation spoke on the occasion while Dr. Wasim urged people to quit tobacco for a healthy heart.
