TEZPUR: In a significant step towards promoting global engagement in higher education, Tezpur University is organizing a one-day seminar on Internationalization of Higher Education (HE) in New Delhi.
The seminar will be graced by the esteemed presence of the Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita, who has consented to be the chief guest. In this regard, Vice Chancellor of Tezpur University Prof. Shambhu Nath Singh met with Margherita in New Delhi on Friday, to personally brief him about this important initiative.
“Recognizing the pivotal role of internationalization in enhancing academic quality and global competitiveness, this joint initiative aims to bring together a diverse group of stakeholders – academics, administrators, and policymakers, to explore emerging trends, share best practices, and deliberate on the challenges and opportunities inherent in the internationalization of higher education,” Prof Singh stated.
“Tezpur University’s dedicated Directorate of International Affairs (DIA) serves as a single window for all matters relating to academic and research collaborations with universities and institutions abroad. Through this seminar we would like to increase our visibility,” stated the Director, International Affairs Prof. Subhrangshu Sekhar Sarkar.
