This awareness programme was an initiative of District TB Control Centre in association with District Aids Control Society , District Legal Services Authority, and Randhiya Youth Group Golaghat. Pamphlets were distributed among the people present there and they were informed about how a TB patient could get treated for HIV/ AIDS. TB and HIV scanning were done on several persons in the programme. District Legal Services Authority Secretary Narayan Kuri was present as chief guest while District TB Officer Dr Sunita Ekka spoke about the disease.
