The party remained victorious in all the 26 seats for which the election was held on June 8 across Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong.

Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Tuliram Ronghang expressed his gratitude to the people of Karbi Anglong for registering their faith in BJP. He declared that it is his party's turn to work for the people now and deliver what was promised; as expected supporters and leaders of various political parties opposed to BJP embraced saffron in large numbers in this rally.

Tuliram Ronghang sought the blessings of people in the rally through a rare gesture. He made a combined 'pranama' by bowing in front of the mammoth crowd from the podium.

His respectful salutation won many hearts present in the rally braving the scorching sun. He on behalf of all the 26 victorious BJP councillors expressed his earnest gratitude for voting BJP to power.

Ronghang made a straight attack on the 'All Party Hills Leaders Conference' chief JI Kathar in his victory rally address for misleading the people of Karbi Anglong for accruing political mileage by demanding re-election. Ronghang said that the demand should have been made much earlier.

Ronghang clearly said that for accommodating public institutions like Deputy Commissioner's office, Assam University etc. also for clearing government land, more eviction will be carried out to remove encroachers.

He informed that around 1,678 illegal constructions have been removed in the Langkaijan area where a solar plant will be built. He mentioned that eviction will continue in Dudu Colony of Bokajan.

Ronghang announced that the science stream will be introduced in Rangsina College of Dongkamukam and in other higher educational institutions. He mentioned that at an expense of Rs. 875 crores under 'Assam Mala Project', a road will be constructed from Donkamukam to Khanduli within two years.
