DHUBRI: Two Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended by Dhubri Police from Aironjongla village located on the outskirts of Dhubri town in the wee hours of Thursday. Police sources said that they had specific information and accordingly raided the house of Siddiqe Sheikh of the locality, where the duo was taking shelter. Police then apprehended both of them. During interrogation, it was revealed that both the accused were coming from Nepal and worked there in the brick kilns. Both hail from Kothalbari village in Kurigram district of Bangladesh. One of the accused stated that he had worked in different places in India and Nepal as a labourer for over 25 years, sources said.

The Bangladeshi nationals have been identified as Mokbul Sheikh (46) and Basir Sheikh (18).
