Two bodies recovered near Demow in Sivasagar district

DEMOW: Two bodies were recovered from the Rajabari Pukhuri near Demow in the Sivasagar district on Wednesday due to which sensation prevails in the area. The deceased have been identified as Sanjay Singh Rajput (23), a resident of Rajabari Tea Estate, and Naspati Ghatowar (36), a resident of Japihajia Sumani Gaon. According to sources, on Wednesday morning local people saw clothes and sandals near the pond. They informed Demow Police.

A team of Demow Police, local magistrate and a SDRF team reached the incident area and recovered the two bodies from Rajabari Pukhuri. Both bodies were sent for post-mortem to Joysagar Civil Hospital.
