Two brothers die in lightning strike in Baksa district
The tragic death of two brothers in Khatarbari village under Nagrijuli police outpost in Tamulpur subdivision on Saturday evening cast a pall of gloom in the area.

BAKSA: The tragic death of two brothers in Khatarbari village under Nagrijuli police outpost in Tamulpur subdivision on Saturday evening cast a pall of gloom in the area. The two deceased brothers have been identified as Kornel Boro (55) and Swagdar Boro (44), residents of Khatarbari village in Baksa district.
Bisti Boro's two sons, Karnal Boro and Swagdar Boro, residents of Khatarbari village, were cutting paddy in their fields in Khatarbari village.The two brothers took cover under a tree on the side of the road when it rained around 4 pm. A bolt of lightning struck them and they died. Locals reported the incident to Nagrujuli Police Outpost. A police team led by officer-in-charge of Nagrijuli police outpost, Manoj Das rushed to the spot and brought the two bodies to the Nagrijuli police outpost. The bodies were later sent for post-mortem.
