Two-day intensive training commenced at Tamalpur Skill Development Centre in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A two-day intensive training commenced at Tamalpur Skill Development Centre on Wednesday. The center was dedicated to the people by the Indian Army last month in a grand inaugural ceremony which was attended by around three hundred localities under the Indian Army’s flagship scheme Operation Sadbhavna.

The training is being conducted by Team-Based Learning (TBL) Education Private Limited under the supervision of the Indian Army. The center is providing certification of prior learning to the students in DTH setup and Field Technician. The program consists of twelve hours of training spread over a duration of two days. Qualified students will be provided with certificates by TBL Education Private Limited under the aegis of the National Skill Development Commission (NSDC).

The center at present is training forty-eight students. The students expressed their satisfaction with the training and said that this training will help them in finding meaningful jobs in the nearby areas and can earn a respectful livelihood therefrom. The vision of the Indian Army behind building this center is to empower the Youth of Assam through education and learning especially in these times when the Insurgency in the area is at its all-time low and situation nearing normalcy stated a press release.
